Sterling Home Offer (Aegis Media Group, LLC) uses artificial intelligence (AI) voice technology in some of our telephone communications. This page explains how and when we use this technology.
What Is AI Voice Technology?
We use AI-powered voice agents that can have natural conversations by phone. These agents can answer questions about our services, gather information about your property, and schedule follow-up calls.
When We Use AI
- To answer inbound calls from property owners who contact us
- To follow up with property owners who have given us permission to call
- AI voice agents are NEVER used for unsolicited cold calls
How You'll Know
- Every AI-assisted call begins with a clear disclosure: "This call uses AI-assisted voice technology"
- If you ask whether you're speaking with AI, the agent will always confirm truthfully
- You may request to speak with a human at any time
Your Rights
- You can request to speak with a human agent at any time during an AI call
- You can request that future calls be made only by human agents
- You can opt out of all calls (including AI-assisted calls) at any time
- You can revoke consent for AI-assisted calls separately from consent for human calls
Recording
- AI-assisted calls may be recorded for quality assurance and compliance purposes
- You will be notified about recording at the beginning of the call
- If you do not wish to be recorded, you may request that recording be stopped
Data and Transcripts
- AI calls may generate transcripts for quality and compliance purposes
- Transcripts are stored securely and retained for a minimum of 5 years
- You may request access to transcripts of your calls by contacting us
Compliance
Our use of AI voice technology complies with:
- The FCC's February 8, 2024 Declaratory Ruling on AI-generated calls
- The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
- The Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (FTSA)
- All applicable state telemarketing and consumer protection laws
We require prior express consent before making AI-assisted calls to any individual. We do not use AI to make unsolicited cold calls.
